Letter-to-the-editor writing workshop redux

The Way Forward and the Phoenixville Advocacy Team are hosting a letter-to-the-editor writing workshop Wed., June 6, 6:30 pm, at the Phoenixville Quaker meetinghouse instead of our usual Rose Hall location. The address is 37 North Whitehorse Rd., Phoenixville, just north of Route 23. If you can carpool, please do — parking is pretty limited.

We’ll provide all the resources you need: contact information and guidelines for all the local papers, some tips on writing effective (and publishable) letters, and factsheets on the North Korea situation. Of course, you can write about whatever you like, and we’ll also be bringing in some information on other pressing local issues, such as the Mariner East 2 pipeline and the coalition to shut down the Berks County detention facility.

Bring a laptop if possible. We’ll have hotspots and extension cords available.
